One of my favorite things to read about is other bloggers’ weddings. That’s probably because I am getting married this year! Less than 5 months actually.
Everyone keeps asking me about details or how much I have planned so far.
I actually feel really well prepared! We got engaged on August 16, 2014.
Within 3 weeks, we booked our dream venue.
Venue = La Venta Inn
Honestly, I have been eyeing that venue since forever. It’s romantic, intimate, and oh so beautiful.
Other things we have booked:
Photographer = Eyelet Images
Oh my gosh I am so obsessed with our photographer. Her pictures are absolutely phenomenal. We are so blessed to have found her…thanks to my good friend Emily who was also married this year!
Wedding Dress = Maggie Sottero
No pic here 😉 but it’s such a beautiful dress. I probably tried on about 10 dresses before I found “the one.” I just knew. As soon as I stepped in it, I felt like a bride. I didn’t want to take it off! I also picked out a headpiece and a cathedral length veil that I absolutely adore.
Bridesmaid Dresses = Bari Jay
Here’s where my colors come in: white, gold, and blush.
The bridesmaids dresses will be a beautiful shade of blush in crinkle chiffon. I should have snapped a pic!
Florist = Be Buds
Just outstanding work! For my bouquet, I’m thinking something along the lines of this:
DJ = VOX
Ceremony Harpist = Carol Tatum
Photobooth = Platinum Photobooth
I’d say we are well on our way to having the romantic, intimate wedding our our dreams.
